At Sahara Bridal, every wedding veil and bridal accessory is thoughtfully handcrafted in our Port Macquarie studio. We’re proud to be a made-to-order brand — but what does that actually mean for you, the bride?
Your Veil, Made Just for You
When you purchase a veil or bridal accessory from Sahara Bridal, it’s not coming from a warehouse shelf. It’s made just for you — designed and sewn with the details of your wedding day in mind.
Every piece is personally handcrafted by Sarah with precision, care, and intention. Your bridal sleeves are made to your measurements. Your veil can be cut to perfectly match the length of your dress train — whether you want to highlight embroidery details or add just the right amount of drama.
Thoughtful Custom Touches
From comb type to veil length, we tailor each piece to your needs. You can choose a sturdy plastic comb that holds securely in your hair, or a flexible metal comb that can be shaped to suit your hairstyle. (Pro tip: the metal comb can be pinned for extra security — just ask your maid of honour, stylist, or even your photographer to watch the placement. That way, if you want to remove your veil later for dancing or photos, your hair will stay perfectly in place.)

Our Timeline
Our standard creation period is currently four weeks. Every piece is handmade by Sarah, and we always aim to deliver within that window — though this may vary depending on workload.
Please note: For October weddings, our timeline is extending to six weeks, as we're almost fully booked for that period. So if you’re considering ordering for spring, now is the perfect time.
Left It a Bit Late?
If your wedding is just around the corner — don’t worry, we can help. Email us at Sarah@saharabridal.com.au with your desired veil or accessory and your wedding date. We’ll let you know if we can accommodate a rush order (a rush fee starting from $50 will apply).
To keep things stress-free, we recommend ordering your veil at least two months before your wedding.
