Mid North Coast Wedding Expo – Port Macquarie | 18 May 2025

Wow — what a fabulous day at the Mid North Coast Wedding Expo!

The 2025 Port Macquarie event was filled with incredible energy, inspiring ideas, and the most genuinely lovely group of vendors. A big thank you to every couple who stopped by the Sahara Bridal stall — your stories, ideas, and excitement made the day unforgettable.

A Community of Talented Vendors

One of the highlights? Being placed next to the amazing Baked By Katie. Her treats were impossible to resist — definitely worth the line-up! And if you were lucky enough to stay until golden hour, the view from the venue was pure magic. Paired with Tap Tap Goose’s delicious on-tap cocktails and CharBar Catering’s slow-cooked pork belly bites (still dreaming about those), it was a perfect afternoon.

The Vendor Q&A sessions on stage were another standout — full of practical, thoughtful tips from celebrants and photographers. Many of you said it answered questions you didn’t even realise you had!

Conversations That Inspired

Thank you to everyone who stopped to chat about your veil dreams and bridal visions. Some of the most exciting ideas included:

  • Custom embroidery with personal messages or important dates

  • Colourful veils and non-traditional accents

  • Bridal headbands for those who don’t feel aligned with a traditional veil

  • And my personal favourite: veils made using heirloom pieces — like your mother’s wedding veil or dress.

These sentimental designs are so meaningful to create. If you’d like to see a recent example, read our blog post: Sentimental Heirloom Veil — a beautiful custom piece for a bride in Western Australia.
